Exploits Valley Intermediate celebrated Pi Day again this year with several students showing off their number skills. Students were challenged to memorize the first 100 digits of the irrational number Pi. Of the four students who attempted it, two were successful in memorizing the first 100 digits and reciting them in front of their peers. Ella Browne and Rachel Bartlett showed an impressive display of their mathematical skills, and they were each rewarded with a brand new math set.
They were also given the opportunity to pie their Principal (John Antle), Vice Principal (Darren Woolridge) and Math teacher (Tom Caines) in the face to the great delight of all students watching. It was a great afternoon with a fantastic show of school spirit.
