The first day of classes for most schools in the Newfoundland and Labrador English School District is Wednesday, September 7, 2022 but please check with your school to confirm.

The most up-to-date information can be found on the school's website. If you have any other questions regarding opening times, please contact your local school or District Headquarters in St. John's.

There are no anticipated delays in school opening. However, should anything arise, any changes or delays to the school opening schedule will be posted on the School Status Report, your school's profile page and/or web site.

Please note, while masks are welcome and encouraged within our schools, they are not mandatory.
