Language Study Opens Doors; PWC Receives Visit from Russian Ambassador

Students studying Russian at Prince of Wales Collegiate in St. John's has a unique opportunity in late November. Along with their teacher, Mr. Rodney Squires, students were treated to a special visit by the Ambassador of the Russian Federation in Canada, Mr. Alexander Darchiev.

The students had a very productive question and answer session with the ambassador on a variety of topics and the visit received much interest from local media representatives. Mr. Squires reports that the visit was a huge success, with the an eye to the future on further cooperation with schools in Russia.
